PROBLEM IN ONE SENTENCE:
Need for a mood tracker for people with special psychological needs.
HOW BIG IS THE PROBLEM:
Our organization provides daily help and offers housing to mentally challenged people. Tracking and getting a better sense of our customers’ mood swings would help us offer a better service.
For example, people with autism or deep mental health problems can’t really show or say if they’re stressed or feeling really bad. It would be a great help to have a device which measures and alerts this.
We believe this is a global problem for all social care organisations.
WHO’S PROBLEM IS IT:
Our customers and the quality of our service is affected.
Outside our organization this could be used in other social care facilities and people that deal with patients with autism or deep mental illnesses.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS:
A device or tracker (watch?) that could measure different mood swings based on physical changes in the body.
Based on the measured results, it notifies the caretaker if the patient has some kind of a problem.
POSSIBLE LIMITATIONS:
Definitely technological challenges in doing this.
